Chicken, rice, greens. It’s the go-to staple for bodybuilders. So when KFC launched their new high protein, low calorie rice bowls, we put on our zinger stringer and joined them in the kitchen.

The campaign involved TikTok’s gymbro bowl-food master Kyan Lloyd becoming the face of the meal, a 2-week schedule of Kentucky Fried Conditioning classes featuring custom weighted ‘drumbells’, a 5KFC run, and a range of social media content.

The menu item featuring an ‘Approved by Gymshark. Fuelled by KFC.’ sticker sold out and was a viral hit on TikTok.

We created a number of platform-first assets to tease the collaboration and launch the new meal.

Then the customers took over making the meal and the brand partnership a viral success.

KENTUCKY FRIED CONDITIONING
& the 5KFC RUN CLUB

We created giant weight chicken drumsticks or drumbells to power a series of workout classes at our Regent Street flagship’s in-store gym. Alongside the Kentucky Fried Conditioning classes we hosted a 5K(FC) run club, with chicken and rice bowls handed out to every participants to fuel their gains.

ZINGER STRINGER

We developed a concept for co-branded KFC x Gymshark limited edition merchandise including a bucket-inspired striped vest we called the Zinger Stringer.
